The Portugal D2 Visa (officially the Immigrant Entrepreneur Visa) allows non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens to obtain legal residency in Portugal by starting a new business, opening a branch of an existing foreign company, or investing in an active Portuguese enterprise. Unlike the D7 visa which requires passive income, the D2 is specifically designed for proactive business owners, freelancers, and independent service providers.
